Hollywood epics.

in 1963, the movie is the story of a black man who refuses to
compromise.
“Home Town Story” – a movie known
for featuring Marilyn Monroe in an early role, but it tells
a strong story of a man determined to follow an agenda.

a CD featuring a collection of 24 American standards performed
by Keely Smith. She sings in a smoky voice and entertains the
listener with her fresh take on lounge tunes, such as “Cocktails
for Two.”
“Dreamland” – Madeline Peyroux’s
debut CD covers a variety of songs ranging from “Walkin’
After Midnight” (quite a contrast to Patsy Cline’s

Myself a Letter.” Madeline Peyroux sings in a voice that
reminds you of Billie Holiday.
“Wildwood Flower” – is the last recording
of June Carter Cash. The CD is country music performed in a simple,
yet authentic style. June Carter Cash sings autobiographical songs
about her childhood, early days as a performer, and her decades
with Johnny Cash.
